Course Description

This 100% online Work Health and Safety (WHS) course is designed for workers in the construction industry, providing the foundational knowledge and practical skills required to perform tasks safely across all sectors of construction.

This unit is now a mandatory requirement for all trainers delivering the White Card course (CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry).

Please note: This is not a White Card course.

Throughout the course, students must demonstrate safe work practices through video evidence, showing an understanding of workplace hazards, risk awareness, and the ability to plan and carry out tasks safely.

The course also requires the performance of basic emergency first aid treatment for minor injuries, reinforcing the importance of both personal safety and the safety of others in construction environments.

Full details of this unit of competency can be viewed via the National Training Register.

Please ensure that you read and understand the entry and assessment requirements listed below prior to enrolling. Particularly for nationally recognised units of competency to ensure that you will be able to complete any workplace specific or video creation and upload tasks that may be included.
